Division Category Manager (local assortment)


Job summary

Ensure correct and complete implementation of the agreed category strategy for local assortments, in line with the commercial plan.  Supervise local product category management in the countries.  Identify, understand and report local needs for customization of assortment, promotion and pricing planning.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Development of local and regional range, concepts and store including space management
  • Set sales target for local and regional range
  • Accountable for margin development of local and regional range
  • Supervise and guide local product sourcing
  • Coordinate local promotional and event activities, in cooperation with marketing and local operations
  • Manage regional third party vendors
  • Drive the Commercial Plan creation for Price Policies, Promotions and Product assortment across operations for local and regional range
  • Analyze passenger profile and sales trend of local markets on and off airport
  • Review and analyze sale trends of local and regional range, implemented promotions, events, pricing policies and margins
  • Actively participate in local adaptations for new business opportunities in the region




  • Bachelor’s Degree in business disciplines or equivalent
  • 5 years relevant work experience
  • Good on data extractions and interpretation across systems and countries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and business intelligence tools
  • Based in Hong Kong
