Description

Purpose

Plan, forecast and monitor the sell through activity for categories (fashion and luxury). Follow-up and reporting, coordination and other specific tasks requested.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Coordinate with Buying and Local Operations to produce seasonal forecasting for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter Open to Buy (OTB).
  • Coordinate financial KPI reports covering Sales, Margin and Stock positions.
  • Coordinate the liquidation program and planning cycle of the stock obsolescence with each region.
  • Coordinate key supplier presentations, outlining current and future expectations.
  • Coordinate Commercial County & Brand Plan via MSSI Reporting.
  • Coordinate Commercial Planning process & new tender process to incorporate into OTB planning.
  • Evaluates Inventory Financial risks.

SKILLS

  • Required: 3 to 5 years of business experience in category management.
  • Desirable: Experience in the retail industry: tobacco, alcohol, cosmetics, perfumes, textile, jewelry accessories and/or, food.
  • Strong financial understanding and experience with working in excel and other systems
