Job summary

Reporting to the Category Director, the Head of Beauty for Asia Pacific is in charge of the performances of the category in the region through the implementation of the category strategy for the various countries under scope and with a view of growing sales of profitability in the region.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Define commercial plans for countries under scope, in line with category global strategy and Brand Plans as well as country operations requirements
  • Ensure implementation of these commercial plans, including a monthly follow-up with the Division
  • Support Global head of Category Brands & Products in global negotiation with Vendors. Lead regional negotiations with Vendors
  • Sales & margin daily/weekly follow up, weekly corrective actions
  • Accountable for Advertising income as per agreed budget. Responsible for reviewing and delivering the regional bonus target
  • Propose and negotiate store layouts for countries under scope
  • Responsible for category strategy and responses for tenders under regional scope
  • Support Division in strengthening relationships with airports (category strategy, ad hoc meetings)



  • Bachelor’s Degree in business disciplines or equivalent
  • 8 years’ category management or procurement in Beauty products. Travel retail industry preferred
  • Strong experience and knowledge in Asia markets
  • A good team leader, supporting and encouraging team members at multiple locations
  • Excellent negotiation and business development skills
  • A good team leader, supporting and encouraging team members to perform well (multiple locations)
  • Fluent in English, other languages a plus
  • Based in Hong Kong
