Description

PURPOSE

 Accountable for the implementation and quality of standards within Assortment, Marketing, Logistics and Category Management to maintain supply and optimize potential sales through making sure the stores have the right stock on time to sell.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Operations

  • Monitor, analyze and report Assortment, Logistics, Marketing and Category Management functions and KPI’s in accordance with Group guidelines
  • Periodically review commercial performance (sales, inventory level, margins...)
  • Support the Commercial Category Manager in the negotiation with local suppliers, when necessary
  • Manage the implementation and sustainability of the logistics strategy as defined by headquarters
  • Review and action the Annual Marketing Plan
  • Follow-up the organization and implementation of promotions in the Cruise Lines
  • Coordinate preparation works concerning merchandising, forecasting and sourcing for new shop openings
  • Supervise Supply & Demand processes to ensure effective forecasting and ordering for an optimal supply
  • Ensure correct and complete implementation of commercial plan


People

  • Keep a close link with Commercial Department, through frequently visiting the ships and ensuring a strong coordination with the Operations General Manager
  • Manage internal and external communication
  • Coach people through leading by example on all people issues, ensuring consistency and compliance with local legal requirements and ensure the understanding and adherence to standard policies and procedures

Finance

  • Work closely with Logistics, Category Management and Marketing to develop annual capital expenditure and to meet budget requirements
  • Control the quality of the SKU assortment and the management of discontinued items
  • Monitor the margin according to the pricing policy

Customer

  • Follow-up the application of the Communications Plan and Customer Service Policy
Operations
§ Monitor, analyze and report Country Logistics, Marketing and Category Management functions and KPI’s
in accordance with Group guidelines

§ Manage internal and external communication at Country level
